We require an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching Chemistry. You will be an innovative and creative teacher with a student centered vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with exciting and challenging lessons in Chemistry. You will primarily be teaching on BTEC Diplomas in Applied Science at all 3 Levels and GCSE Science. There may be opportunity to teach A-Level in the future. You will also be tutor to a group of BTEC L3 students with responsibility for assisting students with UCAS and career choices.

The Science Department is accommodated in facilities including six laboratories, two preparation rooms and a learning centre. Our students are a balance of young people and adults studying GCSE, AS and A2 Science subjects, and vocational, cross disciplinary, applied science courses at levels 1, 2 and 3, including Access to HE courses. Results at all levels are good. We have an excellent record of preparing students for scientific and medical careers.
